The decentralised platforms do not handle fiat (government-issued currencies), only crypto. Additionally, they may not have KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) processes. So the sign-up process takes up less time.

KuCoin
KuCoin has no KYC requirements for withdrawals of up to 2 BTC per day. If you choose to verify your personal accounts it will increase your withdrawal limit to 100 BTC. KuCoin is a centralised exchange that does not support fiat. However, KuCoin is looking to support fiat currencies in future. It has high liquidity and 24/7 customer support.
2. FMFW.io
FMFW is a full KYC platform. You have limits of $25,000 daily and up to $100,000 monthly on this platform. FMFW does not support US residents due to the strict regulatory environment in the US.
You can use bank transfers or credit cards to purchase Pirate Chain or any other crypto. Moreover, they have 24/7 customer support.

However, the guide below for TradeOgre is relevant for most trading platforms as the process of exchanging Bitcoin for Pirate Chain is similar on other platforms.

Here is a step-by-step process on how to buy Pirate Chain from TradeOgre. Let us go through the whole process. You will learn how to set up an account and buy Pirate Chain.

1. Go to TradeOgre
First, you will need to go to TradeOgre.com. You will likely see the markets page.
2. Sign Up
You will need to navigate to the top right where there is the person icon. When you click it, the drop-down will have ‘Sign in’ – click this to sign in or sign up.
After that, you will go to a standard sign-in page. Click ‘Register Here” if you do not have an account.
3. Set Up Your Account
Once you have signed up and verified your email you should set up 2-Factor Authentication so that your account is properly secured.
4. Transfer Bitcoin to TradeOgre
Next, you will need to transfer the Bitcoin you bought from the other exchange onto TradeOgre. To do this, go to ‘Balances’ in the top right.
As a result, you will see a list of cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin will is usually at the top. You will need to go to the Bitcoin row and click ‘Deposit’ so that you can receive Bitcoin.
After that TradeOgre will provide a Bitcoin address. You will need to copy the address and paste it into the other exchange to send the Bitcoin to TradeOgre. You will need to wait a short time until the Bitcoin goes into your TradeOgre account.
5. Find Pirate Chain
Once the Bitcoin is in the account you should navigate to ‘Markets’. It is in the top menu navigation on the left next to the TradeOgre logo.
You will go to the market page. If you cannot see Pirate Chain in the list you can use the search on the right to find Pirate Chain.
Once you find Pirate Chain you need to click on the BTC-ARRR trading pair to buy Pirate Chain.
6. Buy Pirate Chain
You will see the trading area. I am going to show you how to use the maker area marked in yellow here:
